Embedded Software and Firmware Developer for High Speed Processing (Albuquerque, NM)

Description

Develop embedded applications for high speed processing in C and VHDL. Develop hardware and software systems for real-time optical acquisition, tracking, and beam control systems. Participate in a development team making contributions to the hardware and software design and implementation of systems that employ state-of-the-art high-speed real-time hardware and software processing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing high-speed embedded applications for modern processor boards similar to PC-104 and Zynq embedded processors.
  • Experience in programming FPGAs in VHDL using modern programming tools.
  • Experience in programming C embedded applications.
  • Some formal higher education in electrical, computer, or software engineering.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in engineering, computer science, math, or physics.
  • Experience with formal software development processes.
  • Experience in embedded systems development for military applications.

High-Speed, Real-Time, Target Tracker Developer (Albuquerque, NM)

Description

Develop high-speed target tracking algorithms and implement the algorithms on real-time processors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing and implementing real-time high speed target tracking algorithms.
  • Experience with modern high speed visible and IR sensors.

Systems Engineer for the Development of Military Weapon Systems(Albuquerque, NM)

Description

Participate as a key player and leader in the Systems Engineering process of high energy laser weapon systems development projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years experience in analyzing, designing, and engineering military weapon systems.
  • Experience with modern Systems Engineering methods and automated tools.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in engineering, computer science, math, or physics.

Opto-Mechanical Design, Implementation, and Test Engineer (Albuquerque, NM)

Description

Analyze, design, implement and test key opto-mechanical subsystems, assemblies, and components for high power laser applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years experience in analyzing, designing, and engineering complex optical components.
  • Recent experience with modern optical and opto-mechanical design tools such as ZEMAX, CODE-V.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in engineering, math, or physics.

Electrical Design, Implementation, and Test Engineer (Albuquerque, NM)

Description

Analyze, design, implement, and test electrical and electronic subsystems, assemblies, and components for high power laser applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years experience in analyzing, designing, and engineering complex electrical and electronic components.
  • Recent experience with printed circuit board design and fabrication using modern design tools.
  • Recent experience with modern electrical engineering design tools.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in electrical engineering.

Deputy Program Manager (Albuquerque, NM)

Description

Assist Program Managers in the planning and tracking of financial and human resources in the execution of multiple complex weapons development projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years experience in planning and executing large programs for the development of complex engineered hardware and software systems.
  • More than 3 years experience using and significant expertise in scheduling, budgeting, and financial tracking software such as MS Excel, Unanet, and MS Project.
  • Excellent writing and computer skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in electrical or computer engineering.
  • BBA or MBA with emphasis on project management.
  • Experience with formal DoD systems engineering processes.
  • Experience with customer interaction in a weapons development environment.

Modeling and Simulation Analyst (Albuquerque, NM & Dayton, OH)

Description

Assist in the investigation of various physical and optical phenomena involved in the development of acquisition, tracking, and pointing and beam control technologies. Develop and implement algorithms for the analysis of data and the execution of beam control functions.

Apply advanced simulation technologies, WaveTrain and SHaRE, to analyze optical propagation and adaptive optics systems. Assist customers in the application of WaveTrain and SHaRE. Develop, maintain, and upgrade scientific calculation and visualization software. Analyze data from simulation and various types of scientific experiments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in physics, math, or electrical/optical engineering field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with the simulation of complex systems. Matlab programming (or very similar language).
  • Strong physics and math background.

Desired Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in physics, math, or electrical/optical engineering.
  • Experience in the analysis of adaptive optics systems and/or optical propagation through random media.
  • Understanding of Rytov theory.
  • Understanding Fourier optics.

Scientific Applications Programmer (Albuquerque, NM & Dayton, OH)

Description

Develop and maintain complex scientific modeling, simulation, and analysis software with an emphasis in optical propagation and control systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in math, science, or engineering field or equivalent experience. Matlab programming (or very similar language).
  • Strong scientific and numerical programming.

Desired Qualifications

  • Solid background in computer programming, math, and physics.
  • Proficiency in scientific data analysis.
  • Specific experience in optics, statistics, database programming, and/or graphical user interface programming.
  • Experience with C, C++, C#, and Java.

Applications Programmer (Albuquerque, NM & Dayton, OH)

Description

Develop and maintain applications programs with emphasis on application installation, graphical user interfaces, and/or applications configuration. Assist with system maintenance, configuration, and software installation activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer programming in C++, C#, and/or Java.

Desired Qualifications

  • BS in technical discipline with an emphasis in programming. Some experience and knowledge with web-based programming.

MS Windows Computer Systems Administrator

Description

As a member of a systems administration team, perform system configuration and administration of MS Windows-based computer network. Configure all manner of MS Windows operating systems including server versions. Support the implementation and administration of numerous user services including e-mail, communications, file server, and user applications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with MS Windows systems administration.

Desired Qualifications

  • BS in technical discipline with an emphasis in programming.
  • Experience configuring MS Outlook, MS Exchange, MS Domain Servers, MS Skype, and/or MS SharePoint.
  • Experience in a DoD contracting environment that requires implementation of strict security controls in both classified and unclassified environments.
  • Strong programming skills.
